Your Exec Team for 2016/17 are here to make your lives better! Joe (SU President), Meg (VP Education), Maddy (VP Equality & Diversity), Kelly-anne (VP Welfare), and Harry (VP Activities) are an amazing group of officers who are looking forward to helping you over the next year. Come and say hello at City Campus!
“Officially” it should probably start on Monday 19 September, but we’ve been a bit cheeky and thrown some events in on Sunday 18 September! Either way, there’ll be lots of things happening between Sunday 18 September through to Sunday 2 October.
A Fresher is a student who is new to the university; someone in their first year of study. We put on exciting Freshers events to welcome new people to Leeds and help them meet others in the same boat.
Wristbands start at £25 up to £28 depending on how quick you are to snap one up.
Tickets for ‘Stage of Thrones’ and ‘The Freshers Ball’ are £10 in advance or £12 on the door.
Yes! Don’t worry, we’ll be releasing a second wave of wristbands on Thursday 18 August for all of you who want to wait. We haven’t forgotten about you!
Once you have purchased your wristband you can collect it by bringing along your eticket (either printed or on mobile/tablet) to:
– Get Fresh on the Acre | The Acre, Headingley Campus | Sun 18 Sep | 18:00 – 20:00
– SU Reception | Level 1, Portland Building, City Campus | Mon 19 & Tue 20 Sep | 10:00 – 16:00
– Student Hub | Campus Central, Headingley Campus | Mon 19 & Tue 20 Sep | 10:00 – 16:00
– Stage of Thrones | The Stage, City Campus | Tue 20 Sep | 22:00 – LATE
You only need a wristband to get into 4 events: Stage of Thrones, The Freshers Ball, Antics and Projekt.
Most of our events are free, we just recommend that you double check any that might require an entry fee.
TIP: Use the filters we’ve applied to our events to find free entry events.
Don’t panic. You can contact us in a number of ways including telephone, email, Facebook and Twitter. Failing that, if you’re around pop in and see us at the SU Offices.
Also, chances are you won’t be the only one wanting the answer to your question. So what we’ll do is add any questions that keep coming up to this list.
